JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE IS COMING TO DALLAS ON DECEMBER FOURTH AND IM GOING IDGAF WHAT ANYONE SAYS
uh so last night I found out that my prom date withdrew from school and is at a psychiatric hospital.
UH WHO DID I GO TO PROM WITH OMG
I always get mixed messages from my dad. A month ago he asked me how I was liking work and at that time I was absolutely miserable. I hated work and he told me that I could always quit but then right after he said that he was like “Loan worked and she was fine I don’t see why you’re having trouble.” But I don’t think he realized that she started working her senior year and this is my junior year. Anyways, I got used to working and I’ve been slacking off studying for SAT because I need to catch up with school and I’ve gotten really lazy. So today my dad basically told me to quit work because he’s scared my SAT scores will be low. But its too late because I have it on Saturday. Plus I am going to take it again in June just in case. Then again in August to make sure. He told me that he’d make me quit work if my scores are too low but I think he’s just being protective of me. Either way I really need to slow down on work and social life and refocus on school.
Everything is just so much right now.
Okay so it has been two days since prom. I had a lot of fun but other than that I was totally disgusted and annoyed by my date.
MY DATE WOULDN’T SHUT UP. He was so annoying and awkward and rude to me the whole time. He told me at least five times that night that I wasn’t his date anymore because we didn’t match. BUT THIS IS LITERALLY WHAT HAPPENED:
I show up at the place where we were supposed to meet up AND HE’S WEARING BLACK AND NEON GREEN. Apparently he decided on that attire last week and didn’t think of telling me. It wouldn’t have mattered anyways because I was wearing pink. But seriously it was so embarrassing.
So in the car he wouldn’t shut up and he proceeds to annoy everyone else in the car. We get to prom and I go to the restroom before we enter and when I come back he’s gone. HE MADE ME WALK INTO PROM BY MYSELF. LIKE WHAT THE HELL. And when I found him he was like Oh this is my new prom date now. Then when we walk around at least two people asked me why we weren’t matching. omg /facepalm
Then he sits with me at a table and then after a while of idle chitchat (just him talking his mouth off) he finally leaves AND I AM SO RELIEVED.
After that whole experience, I didn’t see him for most of the night. I danced with him later on that night after him begging me too and he leaves me on the dance floor. Whatever though because I ended up dancing with other people and I had the time of my life.
By the end of prom he came back to me to declare how many girls he has danced with. Then he has the audacity to ask me to invite him to my prom next year. WHAT?
I go home and one of my friend’s mom tells me how she was looking through the picture and she felt that I was getting sexually molested by my date’s eyes because he kept looking down my dress. So I look at the pictures AND OMG ASKLDFJLKFIJMKFXUIOJMKE HE IS AND ITS DISGUSTING IVE NEVER FELT MORE VIOLATED AND DISGUSTED IN MY LIFE.
I swear to god looking back at it now I am cringing.
All I know is that aside from him I HAD FUN. Which I constantly tell myself that thats what matters. But any part of what had to do with him just makes me want to delete it from my life.
Ugh ugh ugh.
On the positive aspect, I danced a lot for the first time in my life. I let go of my awkwardness and danced. It was sosososo much fun though and I can’t wait till next years prom. Plus I looked cute and my best friends looked gorgeous.
